Land Core is proud to support a letter co-signed by 450+ organizations and businesses which yesterday called for $200 billion to be invested into a more resilient US agriculture.

Thank you to everyone who signed on and shared last week to help give this critical initiative the strong showing it needs!

The letter calls on Congress to invest at least $200 billion in funding into agriculture through the President’s infrastructure package (the American Jobs Plan), including key components of Rep. Pingree's Agriculture Resilience Act (H.R.2803/S.1337) and Sen. Booker's Climate Stewardship Act (S.1072/H.R.2534). Such a commitment would recognize healthy soil as critical infrastructure, and help to lay the foundation for rebuilding our nation’s soils, securing our food supply, mitigating flood and drought, and sequestering carbon.

The importance of this moment and opportunity for the ag, food and conservation communities to come together and push for these investments cannot be overstated. We cannot let US ag be left out of a major infrastructure and jobs act. Please continue to share the letter with others in your networks and with Members of Congress.
