Land Core Submits FY 2024 agriculture Appropriations Request

Washington, DC.—Land Core submitted a request to Congress to invest in soil health and resilient agriculture through the FY 2024 appropriations process, in which Congress annually approves billions in discretionary funding for farm and food programs.

Funding the programs outlined in the above letter will help to expand soil health practices across US farmland and create value for farmers, businesses, and communities. We believe these additional investments are vital to help reach the full potential of these programs in supporting more producers in building on-farm profitability and resilience.

Supporting America’s farmers and ranchers in building soil health is critical, not only to avert imminent food supply issues, but also to reverse soil loss, safeguard food security, improve farm profitability and productivity, revive rural communities, and mitigate the on-farm impacts of severe weather.
