Find Out How Your Representative is Supporting Soil Health
We're pleased to introduce the newest feature in our Federal Soil Health Bill Tracker! Using the Legislators tab, you can now see your representative's support for soil health at a glance.
This new feature displays how many and which bills each lawmaker is sponsoring and cosponsoring from among the bills included in our tracker. The list is organized by chamber (House, then Senate), then affiliation (Democrat, Republican, Independent), then alphabetically by last name.
Click on your rep’s name to find their contact details, thank them for their support of soil health, and share your feedback with their office. You can use the summary and analysis sections of each bill as a guide.
Our Federal Soil Health Bill Tracker highlights bills introduced into U.S. Congress that could have a significant impact on soil health and resilience; potentially creating value and addressing risks for agricultural producers, businesses, and communities. The tracker features a bill summary, analysis, existing support and cosponsors, links to related materials, and the latest action in Congress for each bill. The tracker is intended to be a robust source of information and potential engagement for the soil health community – and for stakeholders interested in soil health policy as a way to advance related interests such as food, farming, water, climate, resilience and risk mitigation.
We would love to hear your feedback on this new feature. If you have not already, sign up for our bill tracker alerts list to get monthly updates delivered straight to your inbox.
