Land Core Receives Invoking the Pause Climate Challenge Grant
We're thrilled to have been accepted into Invoking the Pause's (ITP) inaugural Climate Challenge cohort.
Through this program, Land Core will receive a three-year grant to support the expansion and implementation of the Land Core Risk Model – a tool designed to inform lenders and insurers to help scale the adoption of soil health practices.
The grant will also help support the development of our Farmer Advisory Council, representing farmers across the Midwest, to help to develop incentives and ensure our work remains farmer-centric and regionally appropriate.
"We're extremely grateful for ITP's ongoing partnership and thoughtful, long-term support of its grantees," said Land Core Executive Director, Aria McLauchlan. "The Foundation's unique approach continues to bolster our work to support farmers in implementing soil health practices, and this new step forward cements our collective efforts to fund the transition to a soil health-centered, ecosystem-restoring, climate-resilient agriculture."
